Dr. Jared graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1999. He graduated with honors in the top 10 percent of his class and was a member of the alpha Psi honor fraternity. He is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Growing up in the Stillman Valley area, he knows his way around the Rock River Valley. After graduating from Northeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993, he worked at Animal Medical Clinic doing everything from kennels to assisting the doctors and technicians. After completing his veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, he worked for a short period of time at a mixed animal practice in Indiana before moving back to the Rockford region in 2000. He has been working at Winnebago Animal Clinic (WAC) for 16 years and became a partner in the practice in 2008.

Dr. Jared currently lives in the Winnebago area with his wife Jennifer and their two daughters, Madison and Avery. His small zoo includes two dogs - Asher and Ming, two indoor cats - Fred and Susie, and three outdoor cats - Pete, Dyp, and Rowdy, and he also has a small assortment of chickens on his small farmette.

Providing quality veterinary care for WAC clients and patients is a top priority for Dr. Jared and takes up the majority of his time. Most of his free time is devoted to his wife and daughters however, he loves to play tennis and racquetball whenever he can. Dr. Jared's interest in Bluegrass music drives his hobby of picking on his mandolin and guitar.

Dr. Jared loves the small-town atmosphere that Winnebago offers and is dedicated to building relationships and providing this community's pets with outstanding veterinary care.
